This link will take you directly to Piktochart's website: I wanted to take a moment to discuss some of the new technologies that I have discovered while completing projects for ED 510. As a millennial, I almost feel as though I should be technologically advanced, but more often than not I feel technologically inept! I am riding that line between people who grew up without technology always at their fingertips and those who haven't seen a day without it. I remember in middle and high school when cellphones were just bricks that made calls and nothing else. Most days I left my phone at home because it only proved useful after 9pm and on weekends! Anyone else remember those days?! Anyways, I digress. All that to say, I have struggled more than I thought I might. Every semester I always tell myself that it's too hard and I can't figure XYZ out. I chalk that up to nerves about new classes and professors. I have figured things out though! I have learned how to utilize technologies and softwares I have never even heard of. I have found some favorites that I feel are noteworthy! #1 Padlet: Whoa was Padlet cool!!!! I used Padlet to create a map that highlighted my favorite places I have been in Ireland. Padlet was easy to use, fun and it creates beautiful projects. Padlet has many other options besides maps, but that was my favorite option. This tool can be useful in a classroom or work space and I wanted to share the link with you! Go forth and explore.. Padlet! That's all for now folks! Check back soon to see what technologies are coming in at 2nd and 3rd!
